1. Introduction
Welcome to Májó Education.
These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and delivery of all programmes, courses, tutoring sessions, workshops, events and related services provided by Májó Education ("Májó Education", "we", "our" or "us").
By booking a programme with Májó Education, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, you should not make a booking.
Where a booking is made on behalf of a child or young person under the age of 18, the person making the booking confirms that they are the child's parent, legal guardian, or otherwise have the legal authority to enter into this agreement on the child's behalf.
These Terms and Conditions should be read together with our:

If there is any conflict between these documents, these Terms and Conditions will take precedence unless stated otherwise.

Throughout these Terms and Conditions:

"Parent" means the individual who makes the booking and enters into the contract with Májó Education.

"Student" means the child or young person participating in a Májó Education programme.

"Programme" refers to any course, tuition programme, workshop, event, academy or educational service delivered by Májó Education.

"Website" means www.majoeducation.org together with any associated booking platform used by Májó Education.
3. Our Commitment
At Májó Education, we are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences that encourage students to think critically, grow in confidence and develop their creativity.
We aim to deliver every programme with professionalism, integrity and care. We ask parents and students to work in partnership with us by treating our staff, educators and other participants with the same respect and courtesy.
These Terms and Conditions are intended to create a clear and fair agreement between Májó Education and the families we serve.
4. Booking and Formation of Contract
4.1 Eligibility
Bookings for Májó Education programmes may only be made by a person who is at least 18 years of age and has the legal authority to enter into a binding contract on behalf of the participating student.
By making a booking, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
4.2 Programme Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that information published on our website, promotional materials and social media channels is accurate at the time of publication.
Occasionally, programme content, dates, times, venues, educators or delivery methods may need to change. Where a significant change is necessary, we will notify affected parents as soon as reasonably practicable.
4.3 Booking a Programme
A booking is made by completing the online booking process through our website or another booking method approved by Májó Education.
During the booking process, you will be asked to provide information required to administer the programme, including contact details and information relating to the participating student.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided is accurate and kept up to date.
4.4 Acceptance of a Booking
Submitting a booking request does not automatically create a contract between you and Májó Education.
Your booking becomes legally binding only when:
-
payment (or any agreed instalment) has been successfully received; and
-
we send you written confirmation that your booking has been accepted.
We reserve the right to decline a booking where it is reasonable to do so, including where:
-
a programme has reached capacity;
-
incorrect or incomplete information has been provided;
-
payment cannot be processed;
-
the booking does not meet our eligibility requirements; or
-
there are safeguarding, safety or legal reasons preventing us from accepting the booking.
Where a booking is declined after payment has been received, any payments made will be refunded promptly using the original payment method wherever possible.
4.5 Programme Availability
All programmes are offered subject to availability.
Májó Education reserves the right to amend, postpone or cancel a programme where this is necessary for operational, safeguarding, health and safety or other reasonable business reasons.
Where a programme is cancelled by Májó Education before it begins, parents will be offered an appropriate alternative programme where available or a full refund of any payments already made.
4.6 Communication
By making a booking, you agree that Májó Education may contact you by email, telephone or other appropriate electronic communication regarding your booking, programme information, safeguarding matters, timetable changes and other information necessary for the delivery of our services.
Marketing communications will only be sent where permitted by law and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time without affecting important service-related communications.
5. Fees and Payment
5.1 Programme Fees
The fee for each programme is the price displayed on the Májó Education website or otherwise communicated to you at the time of booking.
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£).
Where applicable, prices will clearly indicate whether they include any mandatory charges. Any optional services or products that incur an additional cost will be identified before you complete your booking.
5.2 Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be made in full at the time of booking.
Where Májó Education offers instalment payment plans, the payment schedule will be communicated during the booking process. By selecting an instalment plan, you agree to make each payment on or before its due date.
5.3 Payment Methods
Payments may be made using the payment methods made available through our website or approved booking platform.
Payment processing is provided by trusted third-party payment providers. Májó Education does not store your full payment card details.
5.4 Failed or Missed Payments
If a payment cannot be processed or an instalment is missed, we may:
-
contact you to arrange payment;
-
temporarily suspend access to the programme until payment has been received; or
-
cancel the booking if payment is not received within a reasonable period after we have contacted you.
We will always aim to resolve payment issues fairly before taking any action affecting a student's participation.
5.5 Promotional Prices
From time to time, Májó Education may offer introductory prices, promotional discounts or special offers.
Unless otherwise stated:
-
promotions cannot be applied retrospectively;
-
only one promotional offer may be used per booking; and
-
promotional offers may be withdrawn or amended at any time before a booking is completed.
5.6 Pricing Errors
Although we take reasonable care to ensure that our prices are accurate, pricing errors may occasionally occur.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your booking, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and notify you of the correct price. You will have the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund of any payment already made.
5.7 Taxes
Where Májó Education is required by law to charge Value Added Tax (VAT) or any other applicable taxes, these will be included in the total price displayed before you complete your booking unless otherwise stated.
5.8 Refunds
Refunds will be processed in accordance with our Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
6. Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds
6.1 Your Right to Cancel
Where you book a programme online or by another distance-selling method, you may have the right to cancel your booking under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Where these statutory cancellation rights apply, details of how to exercise them are set out in our Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
6.2 Cancellation by the Responsible Adult
If you wish to cancel your booking after it has been confirmed, you must notify Májó Education in writing by emailing info@majoeducation.org.
Any refund due will be determined in accordance with our Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy.
6.3 Requesting a Transfer
Where possible, Májó Education may, at its discretion, allow a booking to be transferred to another available programme or cohort.
Transfers are not guaranteed and will depend on programme availability, safeguarding considerations and any applicable administrative requirements.
6.4 Cancellation by Májó Education
Májó Education will strive to provide services as advertised however we reserve the right to postpone, reschedule or cancel a programme where reasonably necessary, including but not limited to:
-
insufficient participant numbers;
-
educator illness or unforeseen staff absence;
-
safeguarding concerns;
-
health and safety considerations;
-
severe technical failures;
-
circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where this occurs, we will notify affected parents as soon as reasonably practicable.
Where a suitable alternative programme cannot be offered, a full refund will be provided for any sessions that cannot be delivered.
6.5 Withdrawal from a Programme
If a student chooses to stop attending a programme after it has started, this does not automatically entitle the parent to a refund.
Requests for refunds following withdrawal will be considered in accordance with our Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy and any applicable consumer legislation.
6.6 Removal from a Programme
Májó Education reserves the right to suspend or remove a student from a programme where it is reasonably necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing or learning experience of other participants, or where there has been a serious or repeated breach of these Terms and Conditions or our Code of Conduct.
Where possible, we will work with parents to resolve concerns before taking such action.
Any entitlement to a refund following removal will be considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the circumstances leading to the removal.
6.7 Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, we aim to process it as soon as reasonably practicable using the original payment method wherever possible.
The time taken for funds to appear in your account will depend on your payment provider.
6.8 Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Májó Education shall not be liable for delays, postponements or cancellations resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, public health emergencies, industrial action, power outages, internet failures or other force majeure events.
Where reasonably possible, we will seek to provide an alternative session, rearranged programme or appropriate refund in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
7. Programme Delivery
7.1 Delivery of Programmes
Májó Education aims to deliver all programmes as described on our website and in our booking information.
Programme content, learning activities and teaching methods are designed to meet the stated educational objectives. However, teaching approaches may vary between educators to best support students' learning.
7.2 Programme Changes
From time to time, it may be necessary to make reasonable changes to a programme, including:
-
lesson content;
-
teaching materials;
-
timetable;
-
educator allocation;
-
delivery platform;
-
session duration (where appropriate); or
-
other administrative arrangements.
Where a significant relevant change is made, we will notify parents as soon as reasonably practicable.
7.3 Online Delivery
Many Májó Education programmes are delivered online.
Parents are responsible for ensuring that students have access to:
-
a suitable internet connection;
-
a compatible device;
-
any software or applications required for participation; and
-
a suitable learning environment that enables the student to participate safely and effectively.
Májó Education cannot accept responsibility for sessions missed due to issues with a student's internet connection, equipment or home technology.
7.4 Attendance
Students are expected to attend all scheduled sessions wherever reasonably possible.
If a student is unable to attend a session, parents should notify Májó Education as soon as reasonably practicable.
Unless otherwise stated, missed sessions are not automatically rescheduled or refunded.
7.5 Session Recordings
Where sessions are recorded for educational or safeguarding purposes, parents will be informed in advance.
Recordings remain the property of Májó Education and will be managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
Students and parents must not make audio, video or screen recordings of sessions without the prior written permission of Májó Education.
7.6 Educator Availability
Although we will make every reasonable effort to ensure continuity, we cannot guarantee that a programme will always be delivered by the same educator.
Where necessary, another suitably qualified educator may deliver part or all of a programme.
7.7 Educational Outcomes
Májó Education is committed to delivering high-quality educational experiences using appropriately qualified educators and evidence-informed teaching approaches.
However, we cannot guarantee any particular academic outcome, examination result, school placement or future educational opportunity. Individual progress depends on many factors, including attendance, effort, prior knowledge and engagement both during and outside of sessions.
7.8 Learning Materials
During a programme, students may receive worksheets, digital resources, presentation materials or other educational content.
These materials are provided to support the student's learning and must only be used for their personal educational purposes unless Májó Education gives written permission for any other use.
8. Student Conduct and Behaviour
8.1 Expectations
Májó Education is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment in which every student has the opportunity to learn and thrive.
Students are expected to behave respectfully towards educators, staff and fellow participants throughout every programme.
8.2 Expected Standards of Behaviour
Students are expected to:
-
treat all participants with kindness, courtesy and respect;
-
follow the reasonable instructions of educators and staff;
-
contribute positively to the learning environment;
-
participate in a manner that supports the learning of others;
-
use appropriate language and behaviour at all times;
-
respect the privacy and personal information of others; and
-
use online platforms safely and responsibly.
8.3 Unacceptable Behaviour
Examples of unacceptable behaviour include, but are not limited to:
-
bullying, harassment or discrimination;
-
abusive, threatening or offensive language;
-
repeated disruption of learning;
-
deliberate damage to property;
-
sharing inappropriate or offensive content;
-
recording or distributing sessions without permission;
-
impersonating another participant;
-
behaviour that places the safety or wellbeing of others at risk;
-
any unlawful behaviour.
8.4 Behaviour Management
Where concerns arise regarding a student's behaviour, Májó Education will seek to address the matter fairly and proportionately.
Depending on the seriousness of the behaviour, this may include:
-
reminding the student of expected standards;
-
issuing a verbal or written warning;
-
contacting the student's parent or responsible adult;
-
temporarily removing the student from part of a session;
-
suspending participation while concerns are investigated; or
-
permanently removing the student from the programme.
Not every stage will be appropriate in every situation. Májó Education reserves the right to take immediate action where this is reasonably necessary to protect the safety, wellbeing or learning experience of others.
8.5 Parent Partnership
Parents play an important role in supporting positive behaviour.
Where appropriate, we will work collaboratively with parents to resolve behavioural concerns before more serious action becomes necessary.
8.6 Suspension and Removal
Where a student's behaviour presents a significant risk to the safety, wellbeing or learning of others, Májó Education may suspend or permanently remove the student from a programme.
Before making such a decision, we will normally consider:
-
the nature and seriousness of the behaviour;
-
whether similar concerns have arisen previously;
-
the impact on other students and staff;
-
safeguarding considerations; and
-
any other relevant circumstances.
8.7 Equality and Additional Needs
Májó Education recognises that some students may have disabilities, medical conditions or additional educational needs that influence their behaviour.
Where we are made aware of such needs, we will seek to make reasonable adjustments where appropriate and reasonably practicable, while maintaining a safe and positive learning environment for all participants.
Parents are encouraged to inform Májó Education of any relevant information before the programme begins so that appropriate support can be considered.
8.8 Zero-Tolerance Behaviour
Májó Education operates a zero-tolerance approach towards behaviour involving violence, credible threats of violence, illegal activity, serious bullying, discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct or conduct that places another person's safety at risk.
Such behaviour may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the programme without prior warning.
8.9 Respect for Staff
Májó Education is committed to providing a respectful working environment for its educators and staff.
Abusive, threatening or aggressive behaviour towards staff by students or parents will not be tolerated and may result in the suspension or termination of services where appropriate.
9. Safeguarding and Student Welfare
9.1 Our Commitment
The safety and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority.
Májó Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all educators, staff, volunteers, students and parents to contribute to maintaining a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment.
9.2 Safeguarding Procedures
Májó Education maintains safeguarding policies and procedures that are designed to protect students and support the safe delivery of our programmes which is detailed further in our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
Where appropriate, our educators and staff will receive safeguarding training and will be expected to follow our safeguarding procedures at all times.
9.3 Reporting Safeguarding Concerns
Where Májó Education reasonably believes that a child may be at risk of harm, we may take any action that we reasonably consider necessary to safeguard that child or others.
This may include sharing relevant information with appropriate safeguarding professionals, schools, local authorities, emergency services or other organisations where permitted or required by law.
Where appropriate, we will seek to inform parents before information is shared. However, there may be circumstances where doing so would not be appropriate or would place a child or another person at greater risk.
9.4 Duty of Care
While students are participating in a Májó Education programme, we will take reasonable steps to promote their safety and wellbeing.
Parents remain responsible for students outside scheduled programme hours and for ensuring that students are appropriately supervised before and after sessions, including when participating in online programmes from home.
9.5 Online Safety
Students participating in online programmes are expected to use the learning platform responsibly and in accordance with our Code of Conduct. We may remove students from an online session where it is reasonably necessary to protect the safety, privacy or wellbeing of other participants.
9.6 Confidentiality
Information shared with Májó Education will be treated confidentially wherever possible.
However, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where safeguarding concerns arise or where disclosure is required by law or is necessary to protect the safety or welfare of a child or another person.
9.7 Medical and Emergency Information
Parents are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information regarding any medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, additional educational needs or emergency contact details that may affect a student's participation.
Failure to provide relevant information may affect Májó Education's ability to make appropriate arrangements to support the student safely.
9.8 Photography and Recordings
From time to time, photographs, video recordings or audio recordings may be taken during programmes for safeguarding, educational or promotional purposes.
Where recordings or images are intended for promotional use, Májó Education will seek the appropriate consent in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Parents may withdraw consent for promotional photography or video recording at any time by contacting Májó Education. This does not affect recordings made for safeguarding, security or operational purposes where permitted by law.
9.9 Safeguarding Policy

10. Privacy and Data Protection
10.1 Our Commitment to Privacy
Májó Education is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our students, parents, educators and website users.
We process personal data fairly, lawfully and transparently in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable data protection legislation.
10.2 Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy explains in further detail:

how long we keep it; and

your rights in relation to your personal information.

10.3 Information You Provide
By booking a programme, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, the information you provide is accurate, complete and up to date.
You agree to notify Májó Education as soon as reasonably practicable if any important information changes during your child's participation in a programme.
10.4 Use of Personal Information
Májó Education may process personal information where reasonably necessary to:

administer bookings;
-
deliver educational programmes;
-
communicate with parents and students;
-
safeguard children and young people;
-
respond to enquiries and complaints;
-
comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; and
-
improve our services.
We will only process personal information where we have an appropriate legal basis for doing so.
10.5 Sharing Information
Májó Education will not sell personal information.
We may share information with trusted third parties where reasonably necessary to deliver our services or where required or permitted by law.
This may include:

payment service providers;
-
secure technology and learning platform providers;
-
professional advisers;
-
regulatory or safeguarding authorities;
-
emergency services; and
-
other organisations where disclosure is necessary to protect a child or comply with a legal obligation.
10.6 Data Security
Májó Education takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to help protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
While we take reasonable steps to safeguard personal information, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10.7 Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals may have the right to:

request access to their personal information;

request correction of inaccurate information;
-
request deletion of personal information in certain circumstances;

object to or restrict certain processing activities;

request transfer of personal information where applicable; and

10.8 Marketing Communications
Where permitted by law, Májó Education may send information about future programmes, events or services.
You may opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided or by contacting Májó Education directly.
Opting out of marketing communications will not affect important service-related communications relating to your bookings or participation in our programmes.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Ownership
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights relating to Májó Education and its services remain the property of Májó Education or its licensors.
This includes, but is not limited to:

programme content;
-
lesson plans;
-
presentations;
-
worksheets;
-
assessments;
-
educational resources;
-
videos and recordings;
-
website content;
-
branding, logos and graphics; and
-
any other materials produced or made available by Májó Education.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions transfers ownership of any intellectual property rights to parents or students.
11.2 Permitted Use
Educational materials provided by Májó Education are supplied solely for the personal educational use of the enrolled student.
Unless we have given prior written permission, materials must not be:
-
copied or reproduced;
-
shared with individuals outside the enrolled student's immediate household;
-
uploaded to websites or social media platforms;
-
sold, licensed or commercially exploited;
-
adapted or incorporated into other educational resources; or
-
distributed in any format.
11.3 Recording Sessions
Students and parents must not record, photograph, screen-record or otherwise capture any part of a programme without the prior written permission of Májó Education.
This includes live online sessions, educational resources and communications with educators.
11.4 Protection of Educational Materials
Parents and students must not use Májó Education's educational materials in any manner that reproduces, extracts, republishes, distributes, or otherwise makes those materials available to individuals or organisations outside the scope of their permitted personal educational use.
This includes, but is not limited to, uploading materials to publicly accessible websites, file-sharing platforms, online repositories, automated systems or other services that enable unauthorised access, reproduction or redistribution.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a student from making reasonable personal use of the educational materials for their own learning, revision or study, provided that such use does not infringe Májó Education's intellectual property rights or facilitate unauthorised access to, copying of or distribution of those materials.
11.5 Student Work
Students retain ownership of work they create during a programme.
By participating in a programme, parents grant Májó Education a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use student work internally for educational, quality assurance, moderation and safeguarding purposes.
Student work will only be used for promotional or marketing purposes with t relevant consent.
11.6 Feedback
Any suggestions, feedback or recommendations provided to Májó Education regarding our programmes or services may be used by us to improve our educational provision without creating any obligation to provide payment or attribution.
11.7 Protection of the Májó Education Brand
The names "Májó Education", associated logos, branding and trade marks (whether registered or unregistered) must not be used in a manner that suggests endorsement, partnership or affiliation without our prior written permission.
Parents and students must not create websites, social media accounts or promotional materials that could reasonably be mistaken for those of Májó Education.
12. Liability
12.1 Our Responsibility
Májó Education will exercise reasonable care and skill in delivering our programmes and services in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Matters Beyond Our Control
Májó Education shall not be responsible for any delay, interruption or failure to perform our obligations where this results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
-
severe weather;
-
illness affecting educators;
-
failures of internet or communication services;
-
power outages;
-
industrial action;
-
acts of government;
-
public health emergencies; or
-
other unforeseen events beyond our reasonable control.
Where reasonably practicable, we will notify parents of any disruption and explain any alternative arrangements.
12.3 Online Learning
Parents are responsible for ensuring that students have access to suitable equipment, a stable internet connection and an appropriate learning environment when participating in online programmes.
Májó Education is not responsible for interruptions arising solely from a student's internet connection, equipment or home environment.
Where reasonably practicable, we will make reasonable efforts to help students rejoin a session or access missed learning materials.
12.4 Student Property
Students are responsible for their own personal belongings while participating in any in-person activities.
Májó Education accepts no responsibility for the loss of or damage to personal property unless such loss or damage results from our negligence.
12.5 Accuracy of Information
Parents are responsible for ensuring that all information provided to Májó Education is accurate, complete and kept up to date.
Májó Education shall not be responsible for any loss, delay or inability to provide appropriate support arising from inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information supplied by a parent or responsible adult.
12.6 Educational Outcomes
Májó Education aims to provide high-quality educational experiences that support students in developing knowledge, skills and confidence. However, educational progress depends on many factors beyond our control, including attendance, engagement, independent study, prior knowledge and individual circumstances. Accordingly, Májó Education does not guarantee examination results, academic grades, admissions outcomes or any other specific educational achievement.
12.7 Limitation of Liability
Subject to clause 12.1, Májó Education's total liability arising out of or in connection with the provision of our services shall be limited to losses that are reasonably foreseeable as a consequence of our breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Májó Education shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or purely economic loss except where such limitation is prohibited by law.
12.8 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory rights that parents or students may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
13. Complaints Procedure
13.1 Our Commitment
Májó Education is committed to providing high-quality educational experiences and excellent customer service.
We welcome feedback and take complaints seriously. Where concerns arise, we will seek to resolve them fairly, promptly and respectfully.
13.2 Raising a Concern
If a parent or responsible adult is dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, they should contact Májó Education as soon as reasonably practicable, providing sufficient information for us to understand and investigate the matter.
Where appropriate, we encourage concerns to be raised informally in the first instance, as many issues can be resolved quickly through discussion.
13.3 Formal Complaints
If a concern cannot be resolved informally, a formal complaint may be submitted in writing using the contact details provided by Májó Education.
The complaint should include:

the name of the student;
-
the name and contact details of the parent or responsible adult;
-
a description of the complaint;
-
any relevant dates or supporting information; and
-
the outcome being sought, where applicable.
13.4 Investigation
Májó Education will acknowledge receipt of a formal complaint within a reasonable period and will investigate the matter impartially.
We may contact the complainant or other relevant individuals where further information is required to complete our investigation.
13.5 Response
Following our investigation, Májó Education will provide a written response outlining:

any action taken or proposed; and

where appropriate, any steps intended to improve our services.
Where additional time is required to investigate a complaint properly, we will inform the complainant and provide an updated timeframe where reasonably practicable.
13.6 Respectful Communication
We ask that all communications relating to complaints remain respectful and professional.
Májó Education will not tolerate abusive, threatening, discriminatory or harassing behaviour towards our educators, staff, volunteers or representatives.Where such behaviour occurs, we reserve the right to limit or discontinue communication except where required by law.
13.7 Records
Májó Education may retain records of complaints, investigations and outcomes where reasonably necessary for quality assurance, legal compliance, safeguarding, staff training or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Such records will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
13.8 Alternative Dispute Resolution
If a complaint cannot be resolved through our internal complaints procedure, both parties may, where appropriate, consider an alternative method of resolving the dispute before commencing legal proceedings.
Nothing in this clause affects either party's legal rights or remedies.
14. General Legal Provisions
14.1 Changes to these Terms and Conditions
Májó Education may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business operations or applicable laws and regulations.
Where changes are material and affect existing bookings, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected parents or responsible adults. The version of these Terms and Conditions in force at the time of booking will generally apply unless the changes are required by law or are necessary to protect the legitimate interests of Májó Education, our students or our staff.
14.2 Changes to Our Services
Májó Education reserves the right to make reasonable changes to our programmes, timetable, learning resources, teaching methods, educators or administrative procedures where necessary to improve our services, respond to operational requirements or comply with legal obligations.
Where such changes are significant, we will communicate them to affected parents as soon as reasonably practicable.
14.3 Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or other competent authority to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severed to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
14.4 Waiver
If Májó Education chooses not to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions on a particular occasion, this shall not prevent us from enforcing that provision or any other provision at a later date.

Except where expressly stated otherwise, these Terms and Conditions do not confer any rights on any person who is not a party to the agreement under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
14.8 Jurisdiction
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
